A shocking video has emerged, revealing a chilling incident in which a neighbor violently attacked a father and his stepson in a Brooklyn apartment hallway during a heated argument over noise. The incident unfolded on a Sunday night.
The distressing footage, obtained by The Post, commences with a man cloaked in black, pacing agitatedly outside the apartment of his upstairs neighbors on the fourth floor of 1418 Brooklyn Ave. This apartment building is located in the well-known East Flatbush housing complex, where notable figures such as Barbra Streisand and Michael K. Williams once called home.
A woman soon emerges from the apartment, engaging in a verbal exchange with the agitated neighbor, who was later identified by law enforcement as Jason Pass, 47 years of age.
Not long after, the woman is joined by her son, identified by police as 27-year-old Chinwai Mode. Regrettably, the video lacks audio, leaving us in the dark about the content of their exchange.
Moments later, Mode’s stepfather, Bladimy Mathurin, a 47-year-old school bus driver, exits the apartment, wielding a pair of scissors, and confronts the infuriated neighbor in the video.
Despite his wife’s efforts to intervene, the muscular father of four pushes her aside. It is at this intense moment that the verbal altercation takes a harrowing turn when the neighbor in black produces a handgun and directs it menacingly at Mathurin.
Below is the full video, but we must warn you that this is very graphic and if you’re sensitive at all, do not watch.
